4D Designs Paintings
We call these Palette Paintings because, more often than not, they are started at the end of an individual day of painting with the paints remaining on our palettes; we take turns applying paint.
At the beginning of each piece, it’s pretty much a free for all, letting canvases sit and, later, adding more paint with different textures, glueing objects to the piece, simply having fun at the end of a long day of serious solitary work. Eventually, we mutually decide a Palette Painting is done or one of us “brings it together” with one more brushstroke of color.
